Francesca Ter-Berg  is a cellist and composer known for her unique style which blends Klezmer, improvisation and electronic synthesis. Her debut EP (Phantom Limb Label achieved Best Experimental Music on Bandcamp + Quietus Best Releases of 2021) and recent ambient self-release Sunshine Diaries was Pick Of The Week on BBC Radio 4. Her critically acclaimed duo Fran & Flora (“Border-defying” – Mojo) released their 2nd self-produced studio album Precious Collection in April 2024 on Hidden Notes Records (The Guardian Top 10 Folk Albums of 2024). Francesca writes for film and TV, commissions include the Turner Contemporary and Margate NOW Festival. Jemily Rime

Jemily Rime is a French Jazz-Pop singer-songwriter and bassist. She released her first EP Otters Mate For Life in 2018, reflecting her eclectic musical influences in songs mixing Jazz, Pop, Rock and Soul.  Her latest singles (‘Angel’, ‘I Don’t Think About You’, ‘Kinda Liked it’, 2025) are part of a new EP cycle, Phantom Feels, a collection of intimate songs showcasing emotional songwriting through fusion arrangements. They received raving reviews from legacy (BBC Introducing, as well as radios across the UK and France) and online media. Jemily has been performing live for a decade, playing sold-out venues and festivals in both her hometown and across the UK. In parallel, Jemily is a Professor of Electronic and Produced music at Guildhall School and Research Fellow at Guildhall School and ARU – looking at new technologies for music production, especially interested in immersive and interactive sound.

Programme note for Dernière Prise:

In her solo Dernière Prise (last take), Jemily Rime (bass, vocals, synths) deconstructs her creative and research practice, breaking down her original music to its finer parts, leaving space for improvisation and for sounds to unfold where they otherwise would be strictly controlled. Using examples of local, small scale models to generate samples based on her voice and instrument, she connects her musical practice as a songwriter, singer, and bass player, to elements of her research.

TP-303

both performers behing electronic equipment

TP-303 is the collaborative offspring of jazz drummer Jonah Phillips and experimental producer George Thorby, deconstructing house, techno and jungle influences onto live drums and  analogue electronics. High-energy improvised sets warping between hypnotic layers of synthesisers and wild dance grooves.
