Silk Street Five is a brass quintet formed by former members of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, where they first began performing together. Since then, the group has developed into a versatile ensemble whose members now freelance with major orchestras and chamber groups, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, London Mozart Players and Symphonic Brass of London. Their work spans both live performance and studio recording, with one member recently contributing to the soundtracks of the new Wicked and How to Train Your Dragon films.
